Glass blowing

It's such a thrill to watch a master craftsperson in action.  Whether they're a painter, cake decorator, mason or glass blower, their movements can seem graceful, effortless, precise.  They make it look so easy, but what we can often forget that it has often taken them decades to accomplish these skills. In Murano, an island off Venice, the art of glass blowing has been passed down through the generations - perhaps in these circumstances the skills are transferred through osmosis!
